GULF OF MEXICO (Hollywood Backstage) -- In the video above, Ocean Oil Spill Underwater Robotic Devices, you can see Robotic Devices grabbing hold of the oil pipe valve which will be placed over the oil spill leak after it is cut. In the background the main pipe is seen dumping 5000 barrels per day into the Gulf of Mexico flailing about and blasting tons of oil and gas into the ocean. In this video, they stop one of three leaks in the pipe.
Like something from a science fiction movie, the robotic arms have metal crab like hands. They hold onto the pipe while another bolt driver hand presses forward and twirls the locking bolt into place.
The leak is sealed. This is one of three leaks in the riser pipe. The other two leaks are still pouring out approximately 5000 barrels per day. Inside sources in contact with us have privately told us that the actual total is 60,000 barrels a day. No one can confirm this. These figures and the actual flow is a t best a guess estimate.
As you can see in this video there is still a lot of oil pouring out.
The pipe is moving around and the force of the tides in the ocean toss the ROV Remote Operated Vehicle sub freely.

In the next phase, the containment dome is being lowered over one of the remaining two leaks. It will be very difficult to position the containment dome onto the end of the remaining leaks. In addition, the force of the blast from the oil will be putting upward storm like pressure onto the containment box.
