Baja California, Mexico (Hollywood Backstage) - The earthquake has been upgraded to 7.2 magnitude. The large 7.2 earthquake shook the hills of Baja California, Mexico and rattled buildings in Guadalupe Victoria, San Diego and Los Angeles. The nearest major cities in Mexico were Ejido Doctor Alberto Oviedo Mota and Alberto Oviedo Mota, both 10 miles from the epicenter.
Another earthquake struck at 3:55 p.m. centered 35 miles east-northeast of San Diego, magnitude 3.4.
On Sunday, April 04, 2010 at 03:40:39 PM at epicenter, a 7.2 magnitude earthquake shook Baja, Mexico. The epicenter is located 26 km (16 miles) SSW (211°) from Guadalupe Victoria, Baja California, Mexico.
Damage has not been assessed. The rolling earthquake was felt as far as Los Angeles, California.
The earthquake shook an area which is not heavily populated. A Tsunami warning has not been generated at this time.
