Canada Scores Winning Goal

Team USA fought back and scored on a shot by Patrick Kane with 7:16 remaining in the second period. The shot was in the glove of Canada's goalie, but it slipped out and landed on the ice inside of Canada's net.

In the third period, USA tried desperately to get a puck into the net, but to no avail. Canadian goalie Luongo was too much and held USA scoreless as time was running out. Canada ALMOST got their revenge and the Olympic gold medal in 2010 Men's Hockey.

Unbelievably, with 24 seconds left in the game, Zach Parise of the USA found himself 1 foot in front of Canada's net with the puck in sight. Canadian's goalie Luongo looked to his left, but the puck was not there. Parise flipped it into the net. The USA Hockey Team celebrated. The score was tied at 2-2 as 60 minutes of regulation ended. This was looking like one of the greatest games in the history of Olympic Hockey.

At the end of regulation, the score was Canada 2, USA 2.
