Canada Scores Winning Goal

Jonathan Toews of Canada scores first goal in Olympic Hockey gold medal final match vs. U.S. with 7:10 left in the first period. When scoring the first goal, Canada is 4-0 in the preliminary rounds of Men's Hockey at the 2010 Winter Olympics. Make that 5-0 including the gold medal victory.

Before the game, both teams talked about the importance of scoring the first goal. Canada scored again in the second period and put Team USA in a hole. They miraculously climbed back to even the score at 2-2 by the end of regulation.

Canada's greatest moment in hockey history earned them their 14th gold medal at the Winter Games.
