Israeli Tank Blasts Al Zafer Tower 9
At around 10AM Gaza time an Israeli Merkava tank sped across a field toward Gaza strip. Moments later the tank fired a shell and a blast ripped into the tenth floor of the Al Zafer Tower 9 the sound of the huge explosion echoed across the Gazan sky. Another building had been targeted in Israels' merciless and barbaric attack on the people of Gaza. After a brief pause another blast ripped into the building. Several more shells ripped into the building. No one was moving inside the building. 20 minutes later an ambulance was heard very closely. Casualties are unknown at this time. This is the second attack to strike the Al Zafer Tower 9. Israeli tanks targeted the same building previously on July 25, 2014.
After the attack, the tanks sped off back toward their position behind a hill.
Al-Zafer Tower 9 is next to Al Makamah ash Shar‘yah and is located in Palestinian Territory. Al-Zafer Tower 9 has a length of 0.15 kilometres. It is about 11 stories high.

Palestinians can't believe what they are seeing... A giant Israeli shell that didn't explode. It's bigger than a person. Well I guess the cease fire is over.
Israel and Hamas officially called off the cease fire which lasted about two hours.
Yesterday, during the cease-fire, Israeli soldiers engaged in a battle with Palestinian soldiers. Two Israeli soldiers were killed and one soldier was reported missing by the IDF.
Israel called in an airstrike and about 40-70 Palestinians were killed in the battle.
The hunt for the missing soldier continues today. Hamas says they have not captured any Israeli soldier. They have said that the soldier was probably killed in yesterdays bombardment.
