Hollywood, CA (Hollywood Backstage) - Roman Polanski - Charges dropped
Roman Polanski is free after the Swiss courts did not find enough evidence to hold him any longer. Polanski can not be extradited to the U.S. as was hoped by Los Angeles District Attorney, Steve Cooley.

In the above video, you can see a young Roman Polanski on the set of the motion picture, Vampire Killers (1967), which was shot in London. Sharon Tate starred in the film.

Polanski fled the U.S., in 1978, and was never tried on charges that he drugged and raped a 13 year old girl, Samantha Geimer.
