Frank Sinatra Awarded by French Government

Hollywood, CA (Hollywood Backstage) - Looking back at one of the great entertainers of our time Frank Sinatra, we discovered a rare and unique piece of film footage. Frank was awarded a medal by the French government for his performance of 50 concerts for the benefit of needy children. The concerts generated "in the area of four or five hundred thousand dollars" for charity. Counting for inflation, by today's standards that would be over $3 million dollars.

As a singer, actor and humanitarian, Frank Sinatra has left his mark on the world which will never be forgotten, not in our lifetimes.
